About
Pocket Lane started as a group chat where a few of us kept trading screenshots of games we found on our commutes. At some point we figured we might as well write things down properly, so here we are. No agency behind us, just people who actually finish the games before writing about them.
We focus on racing and arcade titles because that's what we love, but we branch out whenever something grabs us. Every review comes from real sessions on real phones, not from a press kit or a thirty-second trailer.
Games get picked for coverage the boring way: someone plays one, likes it enough to keep going, and pitches it to the rest of us. If two of us agree it's interesting, it goes on the list. Bad games get mentioned too, because knowing what to skip saves time.
We pay for our own devices and we don't take money to bump a score. That's the whole model. If it stops being fun to run, we'll say so out loud.
Lukas Brenner — Lukas has been chasing lap times on phones since the touchscreen era began. He handles most of the racing coverage and argues about frame rates far too much.
